Reviews
My main entree (Lobster Soup) was full of shrimp, scallions, and ramen noodles in a steaming creamy broth made for two and not just one. My server—Morgan — was fabulous and very attentive to our every need. Even though it’s $$$, it is a relaxing place to dine.
Great sushi at an affordable price. Friendly service.
Definitely will return!
We ordered over the phone and picked up to go while staying at the Chancey. We were disappointed in the food. The spring rolls were weird like creamy inside. The dumplings were super bland. Neither even tasted like Asian food. My husband got two different sushi plates. He said one was super bland and was all rice hardly any fish. The other was some type of rainbow roll and he did say that one was good. All in all, a strange experience for a restaurant inside a boutique hotel (vetro). Would expect much better caliber of food.
Great food and great staff! Highly recommend the ramen and the poke bowls! And try the Buddha's Delight drink. It's non-alcoholic and just delicious!
The Scorpion Roll is to die for! It was delicious and fresh. I barely had a chance to take a picture, it was too good to wait.
Seemingly endless choices for sushi! Had a friend with celiac disease and the waitress was super knowledgeable about options she could eat safely. Pretty much you could have a sushi roll made to order with whatever ingredients you see on the menu. Other dinner choices are available too. It is not just sushi.
I like that this Sushi place is located in the downtown area. I prefer carry out and choosing a nice spot downtown to eat because their place is usually packed and service is slow. Their sushi rolls are good to share. Popular items are in red on their menu, so they easily stand out. Personal favs: dragon, crunchy calamari, and caterpillar rolls. Now they have menu viewing and payment through QR code if you don’t like to wait.
Used to love going here but one experience changed that… we were eating tonight when our Captain Crunch roll had plastic on the pieces of crab. They were able to remove the roll from the bill but unfortunately that doesn’t change the fact of us ingesting some plastic. While this may be completely harmless, it may also be harmful. Be careful what you eat and understand that things like this do happen so be cautious!
